| This is a day of fun for the whole family!
In the morning, children and families enjoyed various programs of
Tattled Tale storytelling, Gold
Coast Cultural Dancing, Steel Pan Musician
and Song That Inspire from talented members
of our local community. With the generous support from Martha Harewood
(from Barbadian-Canadian & Friends Association ), Art &
Robina Lord (from Bulk Barn - Stafford), Joyce Hemmings, Liz Akano (from
Congress of Black Women, London Chapter) and McDonald's Restaurants,
kids and parents tasted wonderful food of Africa and Caribbean origin.
In the afternoon, children participated different workshops to gain
greater knowledge about Africa arts and crafts, games and dances.
