Passport to Black Cuisine Raffle
Prize: Valued at $450.oo, this prize includes a tour of London restaurants specializing in black cuisine. Paticipating Restaurant: Jambalaya, TG's, Bellyful, Island Style, and Jubba. There are many people from the Black Community who have contributed (and continue to contribute) to the development of London and our community. We would like to know about these 'heroes'. Blues and Jazz singer from London, Carole Allison and her band will be performing at 7:00 & 8:00 p.m.; local historian and author of "A Safe Haven The Story of The Black Settlers of Oxford County" Joyce Pettigrew, will give a brief talk on her book and "The Banjo Man" will sing and play Spiritual songs.

Buxton National Historic Site and Museum will present selected stories of individuals connected to the Buxton Settlement. These stories were gathered from the descendants who had special ties to the Buxton Settlement.
