- A Class Divided.
This film revisits a group
of adults who, as third-graders, were featured
in the 1970 documentary. 'The Eye of the Storm',
and exceptional exercise in discrimination.
The dynamics, prevalence and effects of discrimination
are brought home in a chilling manner through
the actions of children who turn against their
friends within fifteen minutes of being divided
in to blue-eyed and brown-eyed groups. As adults,
they discuss how this exercise has affected
their lives.

- Difference, Yet
the Same: A Look into Canadian Cultures Today.
The video explores the
diversity of Canada's multicultural mosaic through
immigrant eyes. As the title of the series suggests,
each of the nine documentaries focuses on the
uniqueness of Chinese, Chilean, Filipino, Indian,
Iranian, Jamaican, Lebanese, Polish and Somali
cultures, but at the same time reveals the shared
aspirations of culturally diverse people to
make Canada their home.

The program is meant to be self-contained,
a valuable experience when viewed "off
the shelf" by audiences without a trainer
or teacher. The films are rich with contenct
that may be more fully developed in a classroom
or training program. A teacher or trainer can
help viewers deal constructively with their
