Programs & Services

The Centre offers a full continuum of settlement counselling to new immigrants as well as employment counselling, social support, advocacy and assistance in accessing local medical, educational and social services, job search workshops, resettlement assistance and a volunteer matching program call the Host Program.

Our services are client-centered. Employees come from diverse backgrounds and speak over 30 different languages. We ensure that our space is physically accessible and barrier-free and that as many people as possible feel a sense of belonging at the Centre. We work closely with other social service agencies, ethno-cultural groups, government and the private sector to ensure that our clients get the quickest and best services.

Settlement Counselling
Settlement Counsellors work in a variety of languages assisting new immigrants with all types of settlement support.

Resettlement Assistant Program
Settlement workers help Government-Assisted Refugees with their initial settlement needs.

Jeremiah’s House (formally Global House)
Reception Centre for Government sponsored refugees.

Josephs' House
Josephs’ House provides temporary accommodation for newly arrived refugee claimants.

Community Connections
Connecting newcomers to Canadian Communities.

LINC Assessment Centre
Language Assessment & Referral to community & LINC English classes.

Job Search Workshop (JSW) Program
Workshops and support designed for new immigrants to Canada.

Partners In Caring Program
Provides support for Government-Assisted Refugees with their medical, emotional and social needs during their first year in Canada.

SWIS-London
Settlement Workers in Schools work with newcomers and their children to adapt to the Canadian educational system.
