Settlement Counselling
Our Counsellors Can Help You!
If you are a new Immigrant or Refugee we can help you to settle, adapt and integrate in London.
If you have problems finding and using services in the community, we can help.
Our Counsellors Can Provide:
- Orientation
- Referral
- Interpretation
- Counselling
- Advocacy
- Life Skills Education
- Speakers
- Workshops
- Refugee Claimant Workshop
- Help with Government Forms
- Monthly workshops; Immigration, Education, Consumer Rights, etc.
We can provide group and individual orientation sessions in helping you find a place to live, find a place to study and get to know London. We can guide you through the Immigration process and refer you to community services if needed. We offer help dealing with other agencies and services if you can’t get access to services available to newcomers. If you have family problems or need crisis counselling, we can offer support.
Language and Cultural Differences
Our Staff speak languages including Arabic, French, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Spanish, Korean, Punjabi, Urdu, Amharic, Serbo-Croatian, Karen, and Vietnamese. They come from a variety of different cultures and countries. Our partners and volunteers can provide cultural and language interpretation when needed.
