Speaker’s Bureau

The London Cross-Cultural Centre’s Speakers’ Bureau strives to bring awareness to diversity, inclusion, anti-racism, and immigrant issues through community presentations. Our trained speakers offer professional, informative, and engaging presentations, including firsthand refugee accounts.

Our hope is that by bringing awareness to these issues and highlighting how newcomers enrich our community, we can build stronger more inclusive neighbourhoods.

Our Sessions

  • CCLC In Action

Are you interested in learning more about settlement services? This session will cover everything you need to know about the CCLC. From our mission and our values. To our work helping newcomers successfully integrate into their new homes. We’ll teach you everything you need to know plus show you how to get involved!

  • Welcome Home

When newcomers arrive in Canada, the settlement journey can be challenging. The limited rental supply and the accelerating rental rates have created additional hardships for all of London’s vulnerable population, including newcomers. In response, the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre is developing a long-term affordable rental housing complex for newcomers. Welcome Home is not about bricks and mortar. It’s about people. It’s about safety. It’s about offering dignity and empowering refugee families. It’s about hope. If you’re interested in learning more about our exciting new project, fill out the form below.
