Settle In Canada

Get the support you need to start your life in Canada.

We provide settlement support to help newcomers navigate life in Canada — from accessing services to building connections in the community.

Our Services

  • General Settlement Services

Orientation services for newcomers support Permanent Residents or Convention Refugees by providing help and information regarding immigration, government forms and services, community and social services, education, housing, employment, and connecting with others in the community.

  • Case Management Services

For newcomers experiencing language barriers, cultural isolation and unfamiliar surroundings accessing important community services can be a challenge. Our team helps Government Assisted Refugees access resources they may need for their health and wellbeing.

  • Resettlement Assistance Program

Our program is funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. We offer services to Government Assisted Refugees (GARs), for up to six weeks upon their arrival in London, Ontario.

Gathering Information To Better Serve Newcomers to Canada

Most of the programs and services provided by the CCLC are funded entirely or in part by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). As an IRCC-funded organization, we are required to present you, as our client, with the pamphlet which explains why we need to ask you for certain personal information, such as your full name, date of birth, and immigration identification number.
